Induction Motor

An induction motor is an alternating current (AC) electric motor where the rotor's torque is produced by electromagnetic induction from the magnetic field of the stator winding, without direct electrical connection to the rotor. It is the most common type of AC motor used in industrial and commercial applications due to its simplicity, ruggedness, and low maintenance. The motor operates based on the principle of a rotating magnetic field generated by the stator, which induces currents in the rotor to produce motion.
