Stripboard
Stripboard is a prototyping board used in electronics for building and testing circuits without soldering. It consists of a perforated board with parallel copper strips on one side, allowing components to be inserted and connected via the strips. It is commonly used for creating temporary or semi-permanent electronic prototypes, especially in hobbyist and educational settings.
Developers and electronics enthusiasts should learn to use stripboard when prototyping circuits that require more flexibility than breadboards but are not ready for permanent PCB fabrication. It is ideal for projects like custom sensor interfaces, small embedded systems, or educational kits where components need to be securely mounted and tested over time. Using stripboard helps bridge the gap between initial breadboard testing and final production, reducing costs and iteration time.
